I’m Nancy Trunzo, a certified Health Coach, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Belly Dance Professional. I work with Middle Aged Adults (35 – 55) who want to reduce body aches and pains, eat foods they love, stay active, improve confidence, and manage stress. I do this by providing health and fitness education based on body affirming practices and continuing my education as a body positive fitness professional.
I’m a mom, a dancer, and a creative who loves educating people about the ways they can manage the speed bumps of everyday life. I am passionate about exploring situations with a playful mindset, using dance and movement as a means for self expression, and making the most out of the resources that are available. I’m thrilled to share them with you.

Your invitation to get to know me
1. I created and implemented a belly dance class curriculum that integrates body, mind, spirit, and community.
2. I am a sought-after instructor and coach who is known for my compassionate, playful, and knowledgeable methods.
3. I created a dance fitness format that was the first of its kind in Oakland. It taught people dances from around the world and included meditation & affirmations.
4. I have a master’s degree in Holistic Health Education plus certifications as a Health Coach, Group Fitness Trainer, Personal Trainer, and Mind-Body Pilates & Yoga Instructor.
These experiences give me the unique expertise to help you achieve a personal health and/or fitness routine that fits into your life, feels good, is safe, and allows you to feel strong, joyful, and confident.
When I’m not teaching fitness classes or providing health coaching I can be found doing a lot of other creative things. I enjoy DJing Global Bass music for events in the San Francisco Bay Area, creating belly dance and burlesque routines & costuming, as well as knitting and crocheting.
I’m lucky to be supported by my loving boyfriend, my amazing teenagers, and our very silly dog. They give me a soft place to land and inspire me daily.
Other fun facts:
o I used to compete with my horses in a variety of events around Northern California
o I was a Girl Scout from Brownies through the completion of my Senior Gold Award
o I love cosplay and costuming
o I did student teaching in High School Agriculture, I thought I was going to do that as my career
o I can quote most of Pirates of the Caribbean (1st Movie) and Lord of the Rings movies
